Recap of Independence Day
Fourth of July weekend has officially come to a close. Back to the grind. Blah.
Recap of my actual 4th of July celebration...
I went up to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to meet up with my love and our friends and his family at Summerfest (scratch this off my To-Do list). There are several (I think seven?) stages of all different musical groups showcasing their talents all day long. You can travel from stage to stage and food vendor to food vendor. It is a fun time, I recommend it to anyone within driving distance of the Milwaukee area around the fourth of July.
Our group of Summerfesters... minus me. I looked sweaty in the pic we took with me in it. :)
Jay thoroughly enjoying his giant turkey leg.
Sitting lakeside, enjoying the view.
A crowd of people learning a dance. Everyone was very happy. It was cute.
Main event of the night... Steel Pulse... reggae band. (Cross this off my to-do list)
Ha. One of us may have had a couple drinks.
Downtown Milwaukee at night. On our walk back to our hotel.
Now I am having a mini panic attack as I sit and look at my school schedule and all I have to get done. I am stressed and cannot sleep, but need to sleep so I can wake up and do work. I would do some work now, but my brain is tired from studying for about 4 hours tonight. I need to work out... my brain... and my body. Back to the grind. Blah.

Easy going holiday.
Fourth Of July Weekend is such a fun weekend. It is one of those holidays that is just not stressful, its just all about having fun. I love it! All the other holidays there is stress involved, because you have to make food, you have to be here at this time, you have to spend time with these people and those people, you have to send cards to these people. With Independence day everyone just wants to have a good time.
So far, my holiday weekend has consisted of...
Seeing old faces...
Laughing with friends...
Eating funnel cake...
Going to our local festival...
And drinking sweat tea vodka and lemonade....
How much more fun can it get?
