I am glad you have come into my life.

I am sad that your sister boots from seasons ago are now falling apart. 

I am sad to see them go.

They treated me well.

They were comforting to my soles.

Now, new boots, you are going to replace them.

You and I will go on many adventures together.

You will be paired with dresses, leggings, and cardigans.

You will be worn atop my skinny Express jeans.

You will dance me through life.

Your heels will give me the extra inches I love to have now and then.
